Dave’s Birthday

Friday was Dave’s 82nd birthday. You’d never guess it, but we celebrated the occasion with beef!

The dinner menu consisted of:

  • Manhattan
  • Rolled Rump Roast
  • Mashed Potato Pancakes
  • Garden broccoli with garlic and tomato sauce.
  • Spongecake with Chocolate buttercream frosting (Julia Child’s recipe from The Way to Cook.)
  • 1999 Gevrey Chambertin
